Supervision in Oklahoma

Are starting your career or seeking new supervision? Finding a new supervisor can be daunting. It's important to find a supervisor who knows the licensure process, can help with study prep for written and/or oral exam, and can teach you fundamentals of being a therapist. You may even be searching for a supervisor who has flexibility with scheduling or providing virtual supervision.

LADC Supervision in Oklahoma

CADC/LADC/LADC-MH Supervision in Oklahoma

Supervision is driven by the 12 Core Functions, theoretical/therapy education, ethical practices, test preparations. The foundation of LADC is rooted in our 12 Core Function and 46 Global Criteria. We will learn and explore these in respect to real world application and oral examination prep. Organically, we will discuss and learn therapies utilized by your agency or when one’s might be appropriate for specific clients. We spend time doing a deep dive into OBLADC laws and regulations as they pertain to your license and changes as they happen. We will also attend one OBLADC meeting within your time of supervision. Seeing what is addressed by the board is an important aspect of our license. Lastly and more important, we will work through written and oral examination prep.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world."

Structure of Supervision

Typically every supervision session with Jess starts with discussing any clinical concerns from the week. We move to discussing topics related to exams or learning the laws and regulations. After that we move to an in depth discussion of the 12 core functions. We discuss how the 12 core functions fits with real world application as well as how it applies to the exams.
